Poor Leo!

  1. He should run into the nearest store or run under the nearest canopy to stay dry. Then he should call a friend to come pick him up or bring him an umbrella. That way, he can stay dry, and he won't be quite as late.
  2. Leo should invite Lorenzo to stay the night with him at his (Leo's) house after his date, so they can both work together on the project, and Leo doesn't have to worry about going home to go back to Lorenzo to go home again. This also allows them to see the final product together and make final changes together, which will also help them improve their presentation as a whole.
  3. Using the skills and talents within his hands, Leo can pick up a newspaper from around the corner and fold sheets of newspaper into origami flowers. Then he can tell the women, "I know it's not a real flower, but at least you can keep this one forever." It's a sweet gesture, and this tells the ladies he cares because he took the time and effort to make them something as opposed to opening his wallet and take twenty seconds to buy flowers.
  4. Leo should say, "I actually work for an advertising agency. I'm collaborating on a project with one of my colleagues tonight. It's so exciting to integrate a plethora of exquisite ideas to create a advertising masterpiece." His poetic vocabulary and his ability to create works of art shows that he's creative and intellectual.
  5. He can use the bathroom quickly and take some paper towels from the bathroom. If there aren't any paper towels, that Charmin Ultra commercial says that their quilt design makes the toilet paper extra absorbent....
  6. He should take the wood and tie it to the faucet with the twine to stop the dripping noise. Then he should say, "That should let you sleep for tonight. I would call a professional plumber before the wood rots though. I wouldn't want to mess up your faucet even more than it is already." This is a way to ridicule Beatrice back, saying that he's not falling for her games to make him look stupid. It would also show Eleanor that he's kind enough to try to help as best he can.
Poor Leo! He's had such a hectic night!

  1. He can find a local magazine shop and use that to cover himself.
  2. He will have to stop back to his place later that night and get the sketches for the next day.
  3. Leo should "barrow" some flowers from a near by garden.
  4. Leo should talk about the ideas for the ad that he is working on.
  5. Leo can move the vase table on top of the water
  6. At this point he should realize how terrible the situation is and just go home for good.

1.       If Leo doesn’t want to buy an umbrella, he could get newspapers from a stand and use them to cover his head, or he could get in a taxi or take the bus.

2.       He can always go back after his night with his coworker and work on it then, they will be up late and tired, but it will get done.

3.       He could stop by the park on his way and pick some wild flowers, or just be honest and apologize saying he forgot, but promise to buy the first round of drinks.

4.       He can begin talking about the sketches and the ad that he was working on, to show that he cares about his profession and is smart and creative.

5.       He could use his jacket to wipe it up, or leave it alone. He could also find a rug and move it so that it can be covered.

6.       Leo could take the balloon, and use the twine to wrap it as a seal around the pipe, and add the post it notes to use added coverage to soak up the water. Or just use the wrench to try and tighten the pipe.

Solutions to Leo's many.....many problems:

  1. He calls over a taxi and the driver just so happens to be a close friend of Leo's and tells him that fare is on him because Leo took him out to dinner a week ago.
  2. When Leo notices he is missing the sketches he calls Lorenzo and informs him of the situation. He lets him know about the extra key he keeps under his mat and tells him to let himself into his home to get the sketches.
  3. He notices a little garden in the front yard of another house and picks a few daises for the girls, he wraps them in the handkerchief from his suit pocket.
  4. Leo turns to Eleanor and says: "For a moment I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Now I see that I'm very much live, and heaven has been brought to me"
  5. Leo casually keeps walking as if nothing happened and once he uses the bathroom he brings out with him paper towels and puts them over the spilled water. He then goes back to sit down and praises himself for cleaning up a mess he didn't make which Eleanor admires!!
  6. Leo gives Beatrice a five dollar bill and tells her to go buy earplugs. (Hey, he doesn't like her anyway).

Psych2go

I found this website (off of tumblr.. Don't judge) which is actually so interesting. It has a bunch of articles that explain things relevant to the young adult audience in a psychological way.
For example, in honor if it being midterms and some people being stressed:

On this day in 1971 at Atkinson Morley Hospital in London, the first-ever brain image of a patient was made with a commercial CAT scanner. The scanner was developed at EMI's Central Research Laboratories outside London by Godfrey Hounsfield, who shared the 1979 Nobel medicine prize for his invention.
